To the Dads: You Matter Too

Practical, heart-led support for dads who feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or unsure where to turn.

I cherish helping dads feel confident in their parenting journey so they can truly flourish. As a new dad, it’s completely normal to feel overwhelmed, confused, and unsure what to do next. You might feel like you’re the only one struggling, but you’re not alone. Dads need support too, and that’s exactly what I’m here for. The arrival of a new baby can change everything—your relationship, your routines, your sleep, your sense of self, and the pressure of providing for your family. These changes can be huge and, at times, very isolating. Too often, dads are expected to “just cope” and figure it all out on their own. I’m here to remind you that it’s okay to ask for help. In fact, it’s a sign of strength and deep care for your family. I’m passionate about supporting dads and creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can talk honestly, be heard, and get practical guidance.Whether it’s through in-person consultations, phone calls, or Zoom sessions, we’ll work together so you feel more confident and calm in caring for your baby, better able to support your partner, and less overwhelmed by day‑to‑day stress. You don’t have to carry it all alone. With the right support, you can flourish as a dad and enjoy the beautiful moments of fatherhood—even when it’s hard.

“Being a first‑time dad, it was hard watching my wife and baby struggling to thrive. For the first four months, our baby screamed all day, wouldn’t sleep, and my wife was on the verge of what looked like a mental breakdown. We knew having a baby wasn’t going to be easy, but we also knew something wasn’t right. His screaming would last hours, and nights were nightmares. My wife was a shadow of herself, and the baby wasn’t putting on weight.

When my wife suggested a family and baby consultant when he was 4 months old, I was happy to support as we were both desperate. Vicki immediately identified multiple issues and was with us every step of the way to help. She is big on dads being part of the process, and I felt like I was given the same time, energy, and tools as my wife to help settle our son. She changed our lives, and our baby is thriving now. I can’t thank her enough.”

Releived Dad From Wellington

Vicki supported us to gently shift our 13 month-old daughter from waking and feeding many times throughout the night to sleeping consistently until the morning in her own bed. Vicki totally supported our parenting approach so we didn't have to do anything we weren't comfortable doing, and gave us the tools we needed to teach our daughter to self settle. Vicki is an absolute genie. I highly recommend her to any parents out there wanting to sleep properly again! -Relieved Dad from Wellington
